Glossary/AI marketing

AI marketing

AI marketing is the application of artificial intelligence to marketing tasks — content generation, targeting, segmentation, analytics, and personalization — usually with the goal of doing the same work faster or at greater scale.

The most visible use case is content generation: writing captions, posts, blogs, and emails. Adjacent use cases include audience segmentation (predicting which users belong in which lifecycle bucket), predictive copy scoring (estimating which variant will convert), and personalization at scale (rewriting copy per recipient or segment).

AI marketing is not a single product — it spans dozens of categories. The boundary that matters in practice is whether the AI is a thin assistant on top of existing workflows (rewrite my caption) or a generation-first platform that produces shippable output across channels.

Why it matters

AI marketing is becoming table stakes; what differentiates is not whether you use AI but how voice-aware, channel-aware, and brand-aware that AI is.
